Well once again August 17th has rolled around. Take a moment to remember USA 17 now lonely in the Emerald City pond and wish the Lord of Lanai a happy 78th and a good price on the Florida teardown he's flipping for 9 figures.

When you are that old, you don't know when the reaper will come for you. And even if you can hold him at bay for another 10+ years there could be dementia, Alzheimer's and other issues that a mountain of gold cannot fix.
What will be interesting is what will happen to O when LE finally leaves this mortal coil? I suspect it will be broken up and sold piecemeal by the heirs.
