Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

New Verizon shirts

After one wash and in the dryer the Verizon logo is peeling off. You just can’t make this stuff up.

Someone else said it, just stop washing your work shirts. Mine are always wrinkled to sh-t and smell and my black pants have holes all over them because I mean I work for verizon, not like a really nice company, just another corporate walmart of the cellular world

It’s true about the shirts on all points. How do they expect us to wear a shirt with the logo falling off ? Hopefully when they replace everyone’s shirts they just make regular polos.

They are lucky I wash them at all. Why should I use my electric (rates are through the roof right now) to wash and dry their shirts? Also why would I spend unpaid time washing shirts for work. F that nonsense. My dad wore a uniform for 30 years and the company washed them on their dime.

Same here. We started wearing the shirts last week. Nearly everyone’s logos are coming off. What a debacle. Keep those tee shirts handy.

You didn't get the email? They are hand wash dry flat only. Treat them the same as you do your cashmere.
