Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Chatbot Shills

I honestly believe that many of the shill-cheerleader postings done here are being perpetuated by chatbots. There are some telltale signs - common words/ wording, common themes. “Ride the Rocket” for example. Surely there are some human shills augmenting the bots, but the basic strategy is to dilute the mostly negative comments from being too overwhelming. Whether they are bots or truly paid shills, this is a standard play in PR practice - using counterpropaganda to sway any would be new hire, into doubting the negative postings on this POS company - and by POS, I don’t mean Point-of-sale.

Probably 35,000 unhappy with at least some aspect of Fiserv. 999 d-mb enough to believe Frank actually cares. History has shown the more profit Fiserv makes the more benefits they take away. Also if Frank is just pi---d at your BU's President, it can hurt that BU's entire bonus pool. Notice how they never tell you fully or publish how ACIP is calculated. Because it is just up to Frank.

It has been 44,000 for over 3 years now - and that alone makes it suspect. No firm has a consistent count for that long. I trust then internal count showing a much smaller firm. After all, all the OFS deadwood had to be gotten rid of right? In order to ride that rocket, right??? And NJ is going to make FSrv best fintech since the Big Bang, right? The bot concept is a good one.

I thought we had 44,000. What did you do to that one thousand employees?!

And let’s not forget the service areas that they have slayed and will rehire offshore in India. Fiserv clients are going to love that…

No Shills Here Buddy, just 43,000 employees who love the company, the leadership and are thrilled to see their contributions pay off. Then there are the few people who will never stop complaining, no matter great the company becomes.

They increase engagement, which increases the number of employee posts, which makes it harder to dilute the negative posts.

Trying to accomplish something and having the exact opposite outcome does sound like senior management at Fiserv.

It would be a very Fiserv thing to do, to spend money building/buying PR chatbots instead of improving employees' quality of life and fixing their management issues. Though I imagine they'd be just as inclined to outsource the job to an offshore chatbot farm just like they're doing with all engineering resources so they can brag about another record breaking quarter while paying employees less than ever.
