With all the ongoing changes , decided to say Goodbye to Oracle . Received my first offer yesterday and going to negotiate a few more . For the rest of my Oracle - ites here - Keep an eye out , there are much better options out there . Companies that actually care about their customers and employees. Good Luck to everyone!!!

You are not wrong. That's why I keep telling people they are now mercenaries and whoever wants to sign your check, that is where your loyalty lies. you owe them nothing but a fair day's work.
I agree with most of that sentiment, but everyone should realize that no company truly "cares" about its customers or employees beyond perceived potential for profit. Some business leaders just understand more than others that customer satisfaction and employee morale are correlated with higher profit.
Congratulations. I saw the writing on my wall myself and am looking at a few offers too. While layoffs will always be a thing, at least my future leader will be more transparent.
