Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

The FB Plan

I am curious how the Ohio transplant knows what FB’s plan even is, since FB himself has never articulated one. When FB arrived in 2013 he told everyone not to be concerned about going public and that he himself doesn’t think about. We went public within three years. One article noted that he was focused on SELLING the company or at least merging with a company that had money to ease the crushing debt KKR slapped onto FDC (enter Fiserv.) Bottom line: the last person who will tell you the FB plan is FB. So get on board, Ohio shill. He’s lying to you.

@First Data For Life

Since you’re such a good historian, I’m sure you also remember that when Frank took over as CEO, he went around telling everyone in town halls that you can’t cut your way to growth and that RIF is a sign of failed management.

He was right on both counts.

So I take it FD didn’t give employees IPO shares?

KKR buys companies hostile takeover? - to milk them for cash and sell the remains. RJR Nabisco among the classic tales. Kravis is out for himself only. Hmmm, sound familiar. Used to be big in the junk bond market, now long gone along with Michael Milken.

I was at the meeting where he told us not think about an ipo and the he didn’t either. We knew he was lying and that going public was the goal.

I'm not from Ohio but you need a fact checker. KKR doesn't buy companies to keep them private, they always relist them; That is their entire business. Going public was always the plan for First Data even before FB showed up. FB was brought in to rebuild the company, after a number of failed CEOs and then relist it. I have no idea how you imagined your information but FB never said First Data wouldn't go public, in fact he was very clear on the things we needed to do before that could happen. You can't re-write history, too many of us lived it and know the truth.
