I was laid off in June. I took a week off before I started looking for a new job. It was good to see plenty of available options when I did start applying. I landed a job that pays better than my old position at PayPal and from what I've seen so far last and this week, that has ten times better company culture. I just wanted to come back here and let everybody know that there's definitely life after PayPal and it's good.

Huh? June was only 2 months ago. I don't know where the year is coming from.
But it took you a YEAR to find your new gig? A YEAR?
This is what terrifies me. Especially with the worsening conditions of the economy.
