Yeah they used some d-mb "fire" reason also. So they want people clogged at the badge out? In an emergency people typically get out anyway they can. That data is gonna be all jacked up in the event of an active shooter. "Please shooterman let me badge out before you start shooting"

Don't all Fortune 100 companies spend effort and analysis on attendance? It is the only way to measure productivity...not by actual accomplishments...LOL. How many man-hours is being spent on this tracking strategy, the data pulls, the analytics, the reporting, the dashboarding, the report distribution, the report outs, the responses for managers to make action plans to boost and monitor the badging and how to identify the scofflaws who badge in and go home. Nope...no waste there. We must have entire headcount dedicated to snitch work. FB can't stand that his edicts are being ignored or evaded. He must miss the look on peoples faces when they get RIF'd in person in the office.
That is already in place at some sites so really not that shocking. But yeah it's to see who's showing up at 7 and badging out at 8 and never coming back.
They’ll say it’s for “security reasons” but you KNOW the real reason is to track how many hours people spend in office so they can begin pestering people about that. Don’t believe a word they say.
