Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

My guess is the 11th through the 14th

As September ends, and judging from what has been done in the past, these dates are in mind. So any major layoffs would be done during these days. The recession affects things as further contractionary announcements can affect employment at Wells, at any time. But these dates still ring prominent. Dead weight, beware.

Let me explain for the 1000th time.

When Wells Fargo tells someone they are being laid off, they are given a 60 day period where they are still employed. After those 60 days, they are laid off.

When you see those dates in October (10/25) and November (11/22) those are people who were told they are being laid off in August (8/25) and September (9/22).

I wish people would understand more about the WARN sites and how they actually function before posting "retaliation" posts about WARN notices already out there. Good grief. What the poster of this thread is saying is that additional WARN notifications are going to go out the week of the 11th through the 14th of October. These layoffs would then show on the WARN site as December 11th through the 14th. Why this is important is because those people would no longer be eligible for the 401k matching distribution. From a business standpoint, these dates in middle October make sense while WARN notifications AFTER October 15th don't make sense.

Wrong! 10/25 and 11/22 are next dates. This is public information. Research the WARN act.
