How about the layoff names?

Way Ford
Smart Redesign

What else?

This company is all slogans and platitudes! 🤣 I remember "At Ford quality is Job One!" And then you'd turn on your windshield wipers in the highway and they'd fly off.

I remember the late 90s diversity training. Referred to years later as “ talk to the fish”.
I remember the wooden plaque with ten pins. FTEP “Ford training/technical engineering program”. Still have mine. A year ago, company realized, we had to brush up on our technical skills that were covered in those FTEP courses. Quality, reliability, parameter design, tolerance design, SPC, etc. all good stuff. Engineers with less than 10 yrs (20?) experience have to take those. It’s all good and needs to be rigorously applied to improve quality. Six sigma also works when resources and time allow.

Wooden plaque for training classes. It had spaces for metal stick-on icons that were mailed to you when you completed a training class online. The classes included: DOE, 8D Problem Solving, and other technical classes.

Bold Moves. We even got blue Bold Moves rubber bracelets (when those were all the rage).

Many good examples in this thread, but I kind of got my "own" slogan lately: F Ford!

I normally use it in my head when I am in one of those meetings where managers want to look "aligned" to the cr-p coming down from 1 American Rd, and they start changing the normal conversation with the One Ford! bullocks, the Play to win! cr-p, and the Put people first! BS. Those are the only ones used by those managers. Maybe they think there are only 3 slogans, or maybe 3 is the most they can remember in their tiny brains.

Anyway, mine has a cathartic on myself every time I say it, so I'll say again... F Ford! Oh, yeah!

You mean that weak, shaky 2.3L four cylinder powered T-Bird? LOL! I'd rather have one of those older Mustangs, say a '93 LX with the 5.0 and 5 speed. Just a few tweeks and they could run 13 seconds in the quarter mile.

"If you find a better car, buy it" ... I guess that was Iacocca for Chrysler. He did work for Ford before he said that.

Not a slogan but had 1999 diversity training. Literally we sat in a circle and talked to a stuffed animal fish sitting on the floor in the middle of the circle. So as not to make eye contact with anyone specific when talking concerns on diversity.

Mark Fields as CEO 1.0 "Change or die baby!"
Mark Fields as CEO 2.0 (post Alan M) "Go Forward -THE RIGHT WAY!"

(Implying that under Alan M we were misdirected, but Fields was going to save us all.)
