I don't know how rosy it is. When I look at - https://www.theregister.com/2022/08/04/infrastructure_services_giants_still_being/ it looks to be that they are probably cutting by the end of the year or in Q1. Those savings will inevitably come from North American and European cuts. All the stuff I've seen internally seems to be showing a lot of love for offshore groups. The certs they're pushing now are a commodity and those seats will and ARE being filled with cheaper offshore labor, making us more like the Walmart of outsourcing shops. That's how it seems based on the hiring and onboarding patterns I'm seeing. Nothing has really changed other than to try to slow the exit of smart folks to other more promising places and to have some stability in the interim. To quote Gandlaf - "We cannot get out. A Shadow moves in the dark... We cannot get out... They are coming."
