Food prices are insane. If food prices are up 25-50% why the fk isn't King Charles charging 25-50% higher, and paying us 25-50% higher. Prices have gone nuts and the only people suffering with no wage increase are us. WTF is going on here. Increase Rates and start paying a wage we can live off of!

Effort has very little to do with it. What matters is the value of your labor and your compensation being commensurate relative to that. If I move 4 cords of wood from point A to point B, and then right back to A again, I've expended a lot of work via hard labor, but I haven't created a dime of value. How much should I be paid for it?
Markets set prices, not businesses, unless there's a monopoly. Even then, not completely. If I made some kind of nicknack that anyone with decent crafting skills could make in an hour, and I sold it for $499, I probably wouldn't sell any. Sure, I've "set the price", but only the asking price, not actual transaction pricing. Milk isn't $4 due to some grand corporate conspiracy, it's $4 because of the massive increase in costs every step of the way from grass to cow to processing to truck to the grocery store. Those massive increases in costs are largely due to government action, printing money and regulatory nonsense.
But let's just imagine that all farmers are evil gougers (odd way for a liberal to characterize working people, but hey, let's roll with it). If Company A and B are gouging at $4/gallon, what prevents Company C from selling at $3.50, undercutting the competition, driving them all out of business, and taking 100% of the market share? That's right, their own costs of doing business won't allow them to sell at $3.50 without losing a ton of money. Funny how that works.

Has nothing to do with political ideology. The laws of economics are what they are, and they can't be changed.

There's always a degree of luck involved in any big success story. That said, you very very rarely find people living in poverty that are making good life decisions and putting forth maximum effort.
What we're experiencing right now in the economy is the result of horrible fiscal and regulatory policy. In something that seems to be breaking news to some, printing money and stealing from producers has consequences. Politicians that keep promising you "free stuff" in exchange for your vote are lying to you. It's all about corruption and power for them. The tax payer is ALWAYS the one that will get screwed and left with the bill. So when you go to the gas station and spend $3/gallon or buy milk at $4/gallon, government did that to you. The pols give you a check for $600, then increase your cost of living by $5000/year, and some people cheer their charity, as if it's even possible to be charitable with someone else's money. Remember when they said you'd save $1200/yr on healthcare? How did that turn out? Who's paying less? No one as far as I can tell. It's ALL a scam people and the pols and a few of their corporate allies are laughing all the way to the bank.
Anyone who joined WF and knowing full well of all the scandals and issues, Either got paid a lot of money, was terribly desperate or ignorant. Here’s an analogy. Would you begin eating at a restaurant that made the news for giving customers E. coli poisoning? Think about it for a moment. Did you read the story about the banker who left Wells Fargo only to find out he was unemployable because of all the WF scandals? Those of us who are with WF before the scandals cannot leave, now. Our reputations are tarnished. Waiting for my golden severance will be nice payback.

(still lol'ing at that one) Some people just love their little parables that let them think anyone less fortunate is always to blame for what life dealt them. I was not taught about entitlement when I was growing up. When did the sense of entitlement start becoming mainstream? For those who feel their entitled, how did you learn that? Parents? Education? Other? Just curious.

No. You are learning how the work world works. Just get through your anger and entitlement and either do one of two things: stop bi-----g about it or find another job and advance your career with another company.
Pay bumps are not for the little people. Chuck got his - not worried about you or your ability to support your family or your retirement. Improve yourself and then switch firms or industries 1Q23 or 1Q24. Have a plan to escape and execute on ur plan. You'll feel better and it will eventually pay off. Chuck has already said in a town hall he's not going to shower people with money. Believe him when he says that - you need a plan that looks out for you and ur loved ones - WFC is not concerned about your financial well being.

2 or 3 years ago, it was noone got raises. After that I continued to get max raise (2%). In talking to some team mates, they say they haven't received a raise in 3 years. I am over what the mid-point used to be. If you are being told there are no raises, you are being lied to.
You can start an Only Fans page for supplemental income.

Two can play this game. Yes, this company is not what it was 20+ years ago. It’s a shell of its former self. So many reorganizations. So many policy changes. Long time employees have become demoralized. The company vision has changed.
I’ve learned to play the system. I collect my big fat paycheck. I work remotely. I only work if I’m given work to do. No more no less. I have learned that the company is broken. With minimal effort, I was able to become a star employee. Now I’m a nobody. Nothing I do really matters in the company. Some days I have to remind myself I still work for this company. While I’m quietly being fired, I’m quietly quitting. Just waiting to be laid off, so I can join the next great start up company. Though, I’m not leaving unless I get my golden severance. I’ve got all the Time in the world. You see, I’m preparing for my next big gig. I might be too old, but I’m passionate and enjoy a challenge. Had good times at WF. I’m sure they’ll be show me the door very soon. We will part amicably.
Welcome to survival of the fittest. If you were raised that you should be working for the Man, then you should blame your parents. If you’re in adult, you can only blame yourself. What sets successful people apart from unsuccessful people? It’s our desire to succeed. Do yourself a favor. Turn off the television and turn off social media. Determine what the successful people are doing and mimic them.
I know. I stopped feeling sorry for myself years ago and decided to do something about it. Big business and the government are not your friends. The system in place is to make you poor. It’s up to you to figure out how to navigate that obstacle and be successful. I’m nobody special. I’m just somebody who is observed many years of what’s going on. Like I said about television, just turned it off. It was designed to confuse you and instill fear. Because, fear sells.
How about a strike or walkout? Until they get rid of those at the top and replace with ethical people. And give everyone earning below a certain salary threshold a cost of living adjustment. They are nothing without all of us!!!!
I agree. For the first time in my life and after working at WF for 20+ years, I can’t afford to live. Daycare up 25%, rent increased 40%, electric bill has tripled, water bill double, natural gas bill outrageous, fuel to get to office thanks to RTO that is still sky high, groceries through the roof. I have had to cancel dr, dental and vision appts simply because I can no longer afford it. Affording just the basics is now impossible for me. I had to stop contributing to my 401K in order to have more income to pay monthly expenses. Last year and the year before we didn’t get any raise or cost of living increase because “no one was getting them”. Really? I believe CEO received a 20% raise. What gives? For a company who constantly touts how much they care about the well being of their team members? Are you kidding me? Is anyone else angry about this too?
