"synergy costs" indeed. Standing up a new ivory tower in high rent district. Severance packages, higher NJ base salaries, relocation costs, exodus of tenured associates. Higher paid new hires with far less experience. Recipe for success? How many levers will get pulled at Sept or Oct month end?
