Any layoffs in California get 2 months advance notice instead of 15 days? Some information showing some people got 2 months. Not sure one state WARN act applies differently in different parts in same state.

It's hard to understand. I think in same state, there is only one WARN act. It's reasonable to assume all people in the same state being treated same. Why is RWS special?
By the way, what is RWS?
During the September 1 layoffs one of the members of a team we work with was laid off. She was based in California. She had all her OCNA security remove which means she couldn't do anything but was told her last day was the end of October. Everyone else laid off was terminated on September 15.
I was told you must have a RWS address in HR system to hbe eligible for WARN, even if Remote, CA will only ne granted with RWS.
