Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Disappointed with results

I have small stake in ORCL and disappointed with the results. No dividend hike.
Also, Iaas Revenue of 0.9B is a Shame for OCI. SaaS 2.7B. As an ex OPC architect, I think return on investment in OCI is not happening.

What is Oracles investment in OCI in terms of regions launched (hardware investment) and salaris to the employees, more than $4B per anum. That shows OCI is still not profitable. Please work hard and increase the dividend.

Sounds like we have some HR plants making posts, or perhaps they are some of the little Oracle bu-t kissers trying to defend a corrupt company.

OCD. Your rants are interesting.
Blood pressure might be a prob for you. Entertaining, but not healthy. Take a deep breath. Why are you scared? We all have fear.
Layoffs are tough. Life is difficult more so right now. Too much uncertainty. If you need to be heard, please share any updates about Oracle layoffs.

Gotta love people who want to pontificate about being within one’s “rights”, likely from some do-nothing boot-li---r we’ve all seen who has covered his bu-t at Oracle for years to keep from getting RIF’d. This is a site on layoffs, nothing else. If you don’t have anything to bring up about Oracle layoffs, then why you on this site at all?

This is public site if you read the user terms you will see it’s not just about layoffs. He is within his rights
A lot more so than your scolding & insults. He has the same rights than you do.
Please note thaf your scolding is not about layoffs.

Hey bozo - Why are you coming onto a site about LAYOFFS and griping about dividends? People come to this site because they're concerned for their own jobs and possible upcoming RIFs. They are not concerned with stock prices or dividends.

Take your self-centered, foolish comments and just go away.

Research it. You have no idea what your talking about. Look at history of the dividends, every two years it increases, that’s 8 quarters now when do you expect a hike of .08 or .10, you should not be surprise. Constant currency is a headwind no surprise here, revenue was outstanding and guidance phenomenal. You will see upgrades today and the. When they announce taking share from AWS. Regardless of what you do at Oracle it is a money making machine and will do extremely well if you own the stock. If your employee that’s a different story.

Methinks that the tech gods are still peeved at LE for dissing cloud technology when he should have been making it Job #1.

Either that or work to be the one to supply all the cloud providers, Levi Strauss supplied clothing to the miners during the California gold rush. Look what happened.

Instead neither happened.

O is putting a lot of effort in order to become a niche player in the Cloud. Methinks that the tech gods are still peeved at LE for dissing cloud technology when he should have been making it Job #1.

Meanwhile, Amazon invented AWS for their own use, and found it to be a viable business in its own right. Happy accident. Ok, sort of a simplified version of history, but you get my point.
