Hey everybody,
I am a recent college grad that just joined as an FCG and I don't live in Michigan. Despite starting fully remote, my manager said I should eventually consider relocating but that our team is going to stay remote until further notice.
I know pre-COVID, Ford was focused on a huge campus rennovation and overhauling Michigan Central. I have seen it mentioned both on this forum as well as on my team that the building previously used doesn't exist anymore.
My question is does anyone have any idea what plans are in the works in regard to RTO and what teams will go where? Some people started rumors that we'd hear about it this month sometime, but 99% of what gets posted here is pure speculative horsesh-t. Curious what some more senior IT employees here think will happen.
I'm stuck in limbo waiting for people to decide if I should relocate or not and where I should live (considering where I may end up is going to change at the end of my rotation). I don't mind being in office, but I don't see the point is uprooting my life and moving if I am going to just continue to work remotely.
