Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

“This is Wells Fargo”. Unapologetically. LMAO and SMH. I spent over a decade working there - was one of the lucky ones granted full telecommute when RTO came around. I read the room and finally decided to leave. Will miss all the wonderful team members, oops - I mean employees - but happy to be furthering my career with a respectable company. One with a culture that genuinely cares about their workers and above all, the customers.

I am simply unable to find a better internal job or external job because i do not want to go back in my career and make less money. i feel stuck and this DEI culture isn't helping!

It's simply untrue that all banks have this much noise on this website. Chase and BofA have maybe 10% of the activity of the WFC board.

If the OP wants to hook me up with a job elsewhere for the same pay at a more righteous company in their eye, I'm listening. That's what I thought.

I KEEP APPLYING TO OTHER COMPANIES BUT NO OFFERS!! I agree with the OP, not impressed by this company at all and there are places with much better benefits. BUT I would be happy to take almost any other job, if anyone has any leads! :-)

None of these wrongs had anything to do with me or my group. I love my job. I'm not quiting because someone else I've never met in a completely different part of the company did something wrong. THEY are the ones that should go, not me.

Things were way worse under Stumpf.

The current leaders still have a huge mess to clean up that toxic parasite left us. I have faith in them

@1ybp. What they said about ADA compliance. Not that way at other companies but was worried when a certain bunch came in they would change to the way that place was, which was way less than compliant. But so far, so good.

@OP is correct on all points. Except, I did quit working there.
If you don't feel that you have been negatively impacted by any of these points, just wait!
And, by the way, you have but you just choose to ignore it, much like I did for 23 years.
Trust me - its worth getting out. Companies are offering great salary and matching PTO just to hire a quality candidate that Wells Fargo eFFed over with an inconsistently meets and no merit last year. QUIT! Bounce! Tell 'em to F off! Pound sand!

They are very ADA compliant,
The pay isn’t great; however, the benefits are phenomenal

Wells is great, the RTO sucks and so do most of the basic a-s employees but there’s def some cool ones here. Made a lot of friends at this company.

When they don't proactively fix problems found, that's when I drew the line. However, whistleblower lawyers aren't hot to represent without solid evidence. If you don't like what they are doing, then leave quickly before it burns you out.

My career has completely taken off here, I have learned a ton, I am making more money than I Ever thought possible, I get 16 weeks of PTO every time I have a baby. Just a few reasons why I’m here and will stay here for the foreseeable future. This is the best place for me and my family right now.

wells is a good company. I have no plans to leave.

Technically they weren't found guilty of all of those. Plus, a lot of Fortune 500 companies deal with the same issues or at least similar. Basically, no company is perfect.

Hey! I’m just waiting around for my golden severance package. Though, I do admit I love running a gap analysis on everything that’s wrong. The bank kind of reminds me of NYC. Every time they rebrand and rehire, they keep burying everything that’s wrong. Surprise! Some of us know how to dig.

I didn't work here when all of that tomfoolery happened. I am here to help clean up the mess as a worker bee. That is the only way we will turn this boat around.
