Poor comparison. In both housing and fuel, people that own or produce it cheer price increases...and people looking to buy hate them. There's no inconsistency there. Ask a first time home buyer right now how they feel about 6% loans and what home prices have done over the last few years. They ain't happy about it.
Why is it that when housing prices explode it’s reason for celebration, but when gas prices go up everybody cries?
