Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Yes, I work in a branch but we have nothing official until the end of the week on Saturday so In reality I don’t get to see anything or the schedule is not official until that day.

Do you work in the branch? I remember when I was at the branch it was standard for us to schedule at least two weeks in advance

Sounds like too much baggage to me. The way this is written, you probably won't be missed

This is the situation

Usually, my day off is scheduled for Monday, so I plan and set up my day out so that my kid's appointments (my daughter is autistic) and speech therapy for my other kid are convenient. My manager keeps updating and changing my day off and letting us know a day (Saturday) before the week begins.
I have to request the day off to plan for my day off, according to this person. As a result of this last-minute situation, I have called off other times to take my kids to their Aba therapy on the daily schedule to work (when they put me to work on my regular day off).
I find it unfair that they didn't let me know ahead of time so that I could plan accordingly and avoid the stress of getting fired during my first year.
However, this is just the last straw. I have been a high performer this entire time, and I don't understand if this is normal at this place or what the he-l is wrong with management here. Even though I still don't have a job, I am set up to work on several final interviews on Monday. In this case, I'm calling off to attend these and will probably hand in my resignation letter this week, if not the following week. It all depends on how badly they react to me calling off (sick day). That, by the way, I have over 40 hours of it. How do you guys feel about this? Is this week the best time to hand it in, or should I wait until next week? In addition to these final interviews, I have also been guaranteed employment elsewhere, so in reality, I am just waiting on the best offer after the final Monday interview in the other two places.
