Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Humana posting more layoffs

More layoffs within the IT organization happening today. Bruce's goal to creating 1 billion of value means a lot of jobs being eliminated. Technology professionals should avoid this place like the plague. Clinicians are not heard and overworked. Multiple service providers in FL aren't even accepting Humana and patients are being asked to pay out of pocket.

I wouldn't say that tech pros should avoid Humana. If you have your cr-p together and don't slack, you're probably safe. I know I seem to be.

Our IT group just got notice of layoffs, I don't know the extent but I know no one in our immediate group of about 11 got axed.

What is a level 2 leader?

Roles in EVERY segment will be impacted. Every level two leader has a number to meet. It’s not personal, it’s cold hearted business. Most will survive but the talent they are choosing to let go should cause shivers down your spine. No one is irreplaceable. They do not care. This culture will never be the same.

Do you happen to know if it’s only Information Technology roles that are being impacted? Does that fall under the umbrella of Business Intelligence Engineers and Workforce Management and Process Improvement roles as well? Also, how were you notified? Did they schedule an impromptu meeting for everyone? I ask, because I want to know what to look out for. If I see any all hands on deck impromptu meetings scheduled by leadership within the next few weeks, my stomach is going to drop.
