Got this from a "senior director" friend of mine...
"Fiserv has given me until the end of October to move to New Jersey or be fired. They are saying they will assume it is a resignation if I have not relocated. No severence."
This is TERRIBLE.

They give you a heads up you will have to relocate, but that's it. No next steps. Typical way Fiserv operates. And yes, you should get severance. No opportunity to go any place else but NJ. Google the tax kickbacks on this deal.
Fiserv is the worst company I've ever worked for. I am so glad I was laid off. I suggest everybody that agrees with how awful it is goes and leaves an employee review on all the employee review boards - Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Comparably, ALL of them. I've heard Frankie is especially fond of Comparably. Let your voice be heard.
Glad I left after 20+ years! No company is perfect but I can tell you I have no regrets leaving.
Confirming this is true, sadly.
I left last year because I saw the writing on the wall. None of this is ANY surprise. Get out now! Fiserv is dead.
I have no problem with this, whatsoever. The “firm” wants everyone in dirty disgusting cold and outrageously expensive NJ, so Move or find another job.
What is TERRIBLE is we pick and choose who has to move and who doesn’t. Apply rules fairly. Every exception is shady af BS! Treat everyone the same. Stop making exceptions for your friends while others are forced to uproot lives and families. So unfair.
Totally untrue - if you are asked to got to Berkeley Heights and can not you will get severance so long as you complete the required transition work.
We’ve been told management is pulling badge reports and will hold people accountable if they are not in the office. What do they think they will get out of this?
One Fiserv? Ha what a joke!
Wow! Sounds like a company to steer clear of. I don't know how they can give that ultimatum and not give a severance if you choose not to relocate. They are building very poor ratings within the FI community that will cause alot of them to go to FIS OR Jack Henry. The way a company treats its employees reflects how they do business.
I can guess who the leader is. He still thinks this is the military and sadly it is brushed off as that’s just him
Consult a lawyer!!
Can other leaders confirm this?
Really, no severance? Are they giving a moving allowance?
First fata id a cluster…
