I hate waiting and I hate not knowing what's coming even more. I already have a few interviews set up. Despite all the cuts, the job market is still tight and there are still lots of opportunities for software engineers. I haven't been here long enough to merit a good severance, so that's not a factor in my decision-making.

Yes get out now! If you don’t you will just grow more and more complacent with the situation. Just look at this board. On August 1st it was alive with posts and anger, and now , ten days later, it is getting very quiet. Layoffs are old news! Oracle counts on weathering the storm, and thus meets all of these posts with silence.
Act now, while you are still motivated. While you still care!
You are smart. It is better to leave on your feet than on your back. Go to a place where you are valued instead of being looked upon as a burden and a line item on a spreadsheet.
