Small batch cookies on the menu? No! But plenty of small batch under the WARN threshold layoffs coming our way.
Time to unionize!

Time to unionize!
The date hasn't been moved. There is no one date. It's a continuous weekly occurrence until March. This week is some group (I think Engineering?), next week is Digital. Procurement is coming up. TFB next month. Each group is going through multiple rounds. Marketing had one last week. They also had one in May. They'll have one again in a few months. Same with other orgs too.
Has the date been moved?
Brought to you by your CWA organizers. Please organize so that we don't end up as a feature on The Layoff.
Looks like a bunch of anti-union trolls on this page.
Unionize, especially at the call center and store level.
I’ve seen several people with open to work and announcing last day on LinkedIn Friday. But nothing to indicate layoff
Today’s the day! Please send my boss packing.
That’s the joke I guess. I’ve been asking for a pink slip for years. Now I do less than bare minimum. Sometimes I am a detriment to the company. So much for your theory. I might work harder if I was in a union. Enjoy your brainwashing.
Unions do not, and cannot preserve jobs. The best they might do is ensure the most tenured are the ladt to leave, which isn't always a good thing.
Bunch of union shills on here. If you want to progress and stay, become valuable as an individual, then the company has a reason to keep you other than just keeping a seat warm or someone to absorb the vitriol from an irritated customer.
Bunch of union haters here. Look, if you’re so sure the workforce would reject a union, let us vote on it. Stop sucking that corporate te-t, you will starve.
How do you ki-l a technical group that innovates ? Shop Steward
Unions missed the boat when they didn’t organize IT type positions 40 years ago.
They absolutely would be useful in these times when it comes to getting treated fairly and benefits.
Like so many other things, it’s an unsolvable problem that every other developed nation has dealt with.
re-org notifications are starting today
This has nothing to do with the current administration, these layoffs have been happening since the merger began 2 years ago, T-Mobile is simply trying to find a more efficient way to operate, yes it does suck because nobody likes looking for a new job or starting at the bottom, I also agree that T-Mobile sould be more upfront about the entire situation. I suppose if there is any positive in this negative event its they are offering severance packages, I work in the technology side of the house and haven't heard much either but I have been with T-Mobile for many years and hope that I don't get laid off but if it happens then I plan to toake my severance and go on with life, maybe T-Mobile should Unionize nationally instead of only certain departments in certain states. I know of 2 call centers that are union, most wireless companies are part of the CWA, I myself would vote yes to unionize just so we are more protected against On-Calls, Call Outs, more even pay etc. I wish everyone impacted by the recent turn of events the best, I hope you all find better jobs with more money and less stress.
I understand the layoffs are disheartening and I don’t agree with the way they’re going about it but no. Just no.
Livelihoods are threatened. It’s scary. But why fight to stay in a relationship that’s run its course? Unionizing isn’t the answer for this era. Let go of what WAS and accept that this is a new company that’s not evil—just different. Your sanity will be better off.
They DO give a 30 day notice with these layoffs. I hate these trolls.
If a union would ki-l TMO, then it needs to die.
Unions only promise things (meaningless), while the people on the top get rich! Layoffs are a natural part of how companies operate to survive. Blame the Biden administration and lack of control of inflation! Vote wisely!!!
Nope, not going to unionize mr/ms/or whatever you choose CWA agitator. If unions come to TMO, most of the technical talent will walk. They've ki---d plenty of promising companies.
