Inflation reduction act - good or bad?

Based on the senate passing the inflation reduction act today, if it makes it through the house, which if is expected to do, what impact will it have on Us? Are the tax credits enough to pick up CCS or is it a wash with the new corporate tax? With the corporate tax do we think HR is going to scale back any kind of inflationary bonus?

@OP Chances are, nobody working at Exxon (except for some people on the legal team), have read or ever will read any legislation.

Irony: the people on here who constantly rail against management are also the first to repeat their factually challenged talking points.

Inflationary bonus?

Wishful thinking.

The goal is to get to 40k employees. This is being accomplished by raises that do not catch up with inflation to force attrition and by layoffs by pip. This is the strategy by design and is working perfectly, I believe the workforce has shrunk in the last 4 years by 30% with headcount at around 60k. There's another 20% to go.
