Wondering if this restructuring will result in Salesforce Oracle merger.

THAT would be highly amusing and ironic bc SF sprang from Oracle. Marc B worked for O and LE was an investor.
But weird sh*t like that can happen so who knows.
LE would NEVER allow the big red 0 to be acquired. His ego and self importance is too massive, In the last days he'd be in his bunker blaming everyone but himself for 0's failures.
And as a counterpoint, why on earth of Salesforce buy it? Wouldn't it be better to just poach all its customers?
Why? What does Oracle have that any leading company wants? At great discount maybe somebody would be interested. People on here are constantly stating what needs to be scrapped. Customers pretty much want Oracle out.
God, I hope not. I know someone who escaped from Oracle to Salesforce. Would hate to have them retraumatized by being forced back into Oracle.
Let me add, Oracle is like a huge black ho-e. You climb out and then find that you are sucked back in by an acquisition.

Salesforce is mergering Oracle CX customers into it's customer base. No need to give LE a cent.
Why would Salesforce self-harm and buy a failing business? Their #1 priority has been to get off Oracle database.
