Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

The irony..

Taken from the HCM product website…

How do you prove that your employee experience initiatives are working?
According to Jason Averbook, co-founder and CEO of Leapgen, "Employee experience suffers when organizations lack the foundational belief that business will improve when people are treated well. This is why we have trouble connecting the dots between the need to improve employee experience and proof that it’s working."

It’s disappointing to note that while we champion employee experience and good communication, our leadership was incapable of imbuing the same things.

When employee experience suffers
The Corp suffers.
Sadly Oracle does not value people.
Even the self proclaimed untouchable VPs are not valued as is being proven now. Thus. Oracle’s decline.
It is true as poster mentions, layoffs are a reflection of management not employees. Please remember this during your new job search and interviews. Also keep in mind that many have been laid/-off at Oracle for years and have gotten better jobs, better pay, respect and encouragement from the positive leadership in healthy company.
Look at job search as an adventure not a chore and that will help land the job that will be just as excited about you as you will be for them.

He is mirroring Maslow's theory of needs but in a much more succinct way. Nicely done.
