Looks like indirect agents have closed doors nationwide and some account managers are getting laid off today.

What’s the future of this role? It almost feels pointless. Rolling up to retail leadership they could care less about indirect they just pretend to because they have to. Most of them are waiting on a severance package.
There are so few IAMs left. This was 2 separate organizations a few years ago; National and Locals. Now so few are remaining and stuffed aside by consumer. They don’t drive sales anymore, they barely cheerleading, they are almost an Analyst in the field. The agents are so self sufficient now and get driven from the top. What is there left to cut?
Hearing between 10-20% depending on group and function.
West coast got calls at around 8am. Announcement happened at 10am already.
Any estimates of percentages let go? Has it only been announced on the east coast so far? I’m in the west and haven’t seen or heard anything yet
