Why they can’t attract talent to come to Oracle?

Oracle will ‘pay’ for these layoffs with more than just dollars for severance. With more than the loss of experience and customer relationships. They are paying with brand credibility and the corporate future.

ALL impacted employees have been encouraged and directed to apply to open positions, interviews and decisions are being expedited over the next 2 weeks to try to retain as many as possible.
Don't understand how they lay off tons of sales people in CX but Linkedin still shows them hiring for other sales roles in other divisions. Instead of paying all that severance, just re-purpose those people into the roles they are trying to fill. All these people already know the internal systems. Ramp up will me must quicker this way.
