New Hires getting higher hourly pay then long term employees

Newly hired employees are making several dollars an hour more than employees in the same role, same store, that have been here for years?

There are several disgruntled employees across several locations now, it just does not seem ethical to pay new hires more than existing workers who have had to deal with all the stress over the years.

I will continue to work at my lower market rate and let the new hires do more!

It is call market rate! Same thing when people leave VZ to go to other companies. Perhaps our Retail folks should look into it. When people come from the outside at VZ Prof jobs, same thing happens. This is not new to any company or society.

I'm not sure what the problem is
I had a talk with my manager. Told him why I deserved more. He talked to his higher ups, and two weeks later, I was making significantly more than the new hire.
Sounds like we have a shortage of huevos to me.

:welcome to almost every company in the world:
:Hired at market pay for the time: :increased based on raises or bargaining contracts: :market pay for new increases faster than raises you earn: :staying below market can mean you are more cost effective to keep- job security: :want more, shop around for new job:

This is absolutely unethical and outside party has to be involved, may be the labor union, not the good for nothing HR. This has to get reported.

This is how the world works. You have to change jobs to get a market rate pay increase. They don't pay you for oast stress or any other feeling based things. They pay you the least possible to do a job.
