Team meeting you are all probably safe this time around. Waiting to see where I would belong. Never seen an entire team let go after a meeting like this
“Whole team” commenter: that means you’re safe this time around, I think. During the last big layoff our mgr called a team meeting for those of us left to announce that the rest had been let go. This time I got the 1:1 “biz update” invite for later today.

I heard APAC already had theirs this morning. Same thing, “business update” invite, basically to read aloud an official reason and inform them of their terms.

Mine is a 1:1 at 10:30. I’ll be glad to break free from this disaster. Too much cronyism in management. New ideas are constantly stifled. I’ve routinely been in meetings where the ratio of managers vs. doers is 4:1 or more. Should be the opposite. And the managers are there to gaslight the doers.
