Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Remember when leadership knew how to fight?

In the past, if Verizon posted results as poor as this quarter's, leadership, and the whole company was ready for a fight. There was a huge sense of urgency to build new strategies to take on the competition.

But the non-American leadership of today does not know how to fight. They do not understand the American market and its customer base, and as such cannot build a winning strategy. Their socialist ways cannot comprehend how to be successful. It truly is sad what the company has become.

@1qmf+1i04pzlI there aren’t any boomers left working here. They laid off or made them take early retirement around here. Do you really have people in their 60s working in your department?

No one cares anymore. Seems to be “it is what it is” attitude last 2-3 years. Network hasn’t improved (i can’t get coverage in places my phone worked 5 years ago), systems haven’t improved and continue to fail us and it takes weeks to anything done due to the bureaucracy this administration has created. Don’t believe me go read our reviews online. I’ve been in the middle of trying to get a switch issue fixed that has taken over 10 days to get fixed. Switch issues, port issues, failed activations…it’s so crazy to me.
