For Wells Fargo to be successful in Texas, the Indians are going to have to learn Spanish.

Google and Microsoft have shared infrastructure buildings in Chicago and Dallas. That will have Wells Fargo infrastructure staff working in the same building with Google and/or Microsoft.

It really wasn't a secretive plan. It was even talked about on this site last summer. The only thing Scharf denied was moving the corporate HQ from SF to Dallas. There is already a large WF presence in the Dallas area that will be consolidated into the new facility.
Wells Fargo/Wachovia had a history of not consolidating facilities after M&A. This is a clean up effort to reduce costs through consolidation of facilities. It also places workspace near the new data centers.
For those of us living in DFW, this isn’t news. DFW is one of the Hubs & they have been looking to consolidate offices and groups.
Hope their facilities have their own power generators.

The story you referenced (from 3 weeks ago) begins by saying it’s “Wells Fargo’s secretive plan”. I, too, remember Charlie denying it.
WFC may or may not have flat out denied it, but they have been very tight lipped about it. Why else would WFC go to the trouble of disguising it internally under the ridiculous code name “Project Falcon”? Please.

What a surprise that WFC would want to force employees into one of the most repressive and backward states. Hating the worker isn't enough, they need to especially hate women too.

It hasn't been denied by the executives. It is called Project Falcon. This has actually been public news. Wells Fargo already has many employees in the area.

They are building two new data centers there to open in a few years.
Does Texas allow more H1B visas? I know they like to think of themselves as a separate country. 😂
