LinkedIn has joined the club alongside Glassdoor, Yelp and Forbes. The more $ company pays, the higher it ranks on the list. Unless they rate based on the data provided by Twitter.

I think LinkedIn ranks by how many people are talking about the company. Could be lots of talk about getting out of Oracle or IBM. Doesn’t mean anything.
IBM is also on the list, and yet it should not be on any tech ranking lists whatsoever. Maybe #1 on the 'rapidly declining tech companies' list.
I think we paid for this ranking.
Nothing else would explain it.
Scroll down on that page and read the “Methodology” section. Without that it’s like trying to read a map without a key.
IBM/Oracle is ranked higher than Meta/Netflix (where is it?)/Amazon(minus aws, sure they havent innovated right?)/tesla is defly an amazing measure. Shows that with right set of parameters, anyone can be number 1 !
