I'm tired of working here and I'm applying for other jobs, but at the same time I'm very nostalgic. Do you remember the times when the company actually cared about the employees being happy?

Of course they're not coming back. Stores are not pulling in the money like they used to. There's no way we're rewarding you for this. If you want Golden age pay, figure out how stores can make Golden age profit. Until then... expect more cost cutting.
Not really. But I remember when we did over a 1,000 gg's a month and made a butload of cash. Verizon never cared but at least we made lots of $$$
Damn I remember that stupid bag of bu-----t with the empty tiny jar (to put our reduced tiny commission) and misc. children's toys. They have money for that and political group activities, but refuse to use that money to give us working systems or adjust us to inflation. I was once middle class working here...those days are long gone thanks to our greedy failures that we call corporate leadership. Hans and the corporate team failed us and this company, they know it and they don't care. They pat themselves on the back while most veteran employees that actually put in the hard work get screwed. Last time our DM was at the store he only spoke to the newest employee and didn't want to hear anything from any of us seasoned vets. It was so disrespectful! That's how the upper corporate team works. They want fake cheerleading so they can feel their horrible decisions were "the right move". They even have managers stupid enough to say if you should worry less about yourself and think more of the company's wants. Sorry but I put myself and family before anything and the pay is not sustainable like it once was. The only thing that makes me motivated to sell is my team at store level. My GM and team are literally like family. We used to sell hard for a fat a-s check, now we sell just to make scraps. Good job Verizon!!
Best we can do is send you some bracelets, misc arts and crafts and some magnets for your refrigerator.
