The last three days and how much I absolutely detested the thought of work this morning made me realize that I need a proper vacation or to leave Fiserv. I haven't been able to take a day off outside of a holiday for nearly two years and I should have. I keep postponing taking a vacation because there's always some emergency we have to deal with as if me doing that is going to reflect well on me and my future. Yes, I realize I'm an id--t. I'm done being one, though. That should count for something, right?

Just enter your days off, and then take them. Be intelligent enough to not schedule them at a known crunch time. then just ignore your boss if they gripe, take your days, turn off the computer and phone and decompress.
LEAVE
I left 6 months ago. No more Monday morn dread. 100% remote with an office option should I want to work there from time to time. More money and most importantly, more respect.
In the nicest way, yes, you are an id--t. You are responsible for taking care of you and letting them take advantage of you.
If you're off, be an unreachable ghost. Also, use every hour of vacation you have earned.
I highly recommend keeping a second phone for work. Yes, it costs a bit more, but it allows you to sever from work completely. I had a trusted co-worker (not a manager) who had my personal number. I gave it to them in case there was an emergency.
Are you more of a target for layoffs if you use all your vacation? I highly doubt it.
Don't worry. It will still be a dumpster fire when you get back from vacation.
Take care of you. The lights will still come on when you are off. And, go some place where your cell phone doesn't work. Or at least tell them it doesn't work.
The atmosphere now is fully toxic. Sure, reflective of all the global and national issues that are stressing everyone out, but senior management is clueless on how to address or respond other than issuing more edicts and monolithic barriers... I have never felt the overpowering dread of a Monday morning (or Tuesday after holiday morning) more in any role in my career.
