Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Work is fun once again

I can't emphasize enough how important good company culture is. Working in the toxic cesspool that was Trusit ki---d any excitement I had regarding work. When I switched jobs, it was more to get away from a problematic manager than me thinking anything else will improve. I was so wrong. My new bank has a great culture that focuses on cooperation. It's not political, it's not fear-instilling, and it's certainly not led by nepotism and cronyism. My work life has improved tenfold. Take it from somebody who's lived it: there are many better options.

“What’s the name of your ‘new bank’”?

Like the poster is making it up?
Get a grip and put down the cool aid you worthless spineless sheep. Stop shilling for the disaster that is Truist.

The place is sinking fast. Open your eyes.

I honestly believe the comments saying “it is the same everywhere“ or “it’s just big Bank culture“ are coming directly from
Truist HR. Saying the work environment at Truist is in any way “normal” is laughably false.

Politics are a part of every big corporation. But at Truist it is not as much “politics” as it is a “class system”. The executives at Truist see employees as lesser human beings - as disposable trash.

I met some of my favorite people in the world at Truist. All but one have left, and they are without exception ecstatic about leaving Truist. Life is too short to spend in such toxicity - happy 4th and I hope you find a place that values you.
