The good times are ending for office workers

Michael Burry said on Tuesday that the U.S. labor market is about to be sliced in half, with blue-collar workers remaining a sought-after commodity, while white-collar workers see job losses and falling wages. In other words, the good times are ending for office workers.
Burry rose to fame after he predicted and profited from the housing market collapse of 2008, as depicted in the 2015 film The Big Short.

Tell us how you really feel. I'm sure some are dead weight, but it's one of those job titles that a TON of people have been dumped into. Some are useless, but many are not. I know some, and they are essential. This doesn't mean that all the ones in your LOB aren't a waste of $, but it's not a company wide thing.

AI is going to have a tremendous affect on office workers. But a lot of blue collar workers will be affected too. Especially truck drivers.

There are two different flavors of “white collar workers.” The two flavors are those who know how the code and rules work and the “Business Execution Consultants.” The latter are time wastage douche baggie, everyone gets a trophy a-s#0Les and WF can drop plenty of them and still get the mission accomplished.

Yes, he is probably the only elites who gets our pain: "white-collar workers see job losses and falling wages"

The rest wants to import workers from China and India to replace us.

I think he's had one correct call and still carries it with him everywhere, but even a clock strikes 12 twice a day.
