Anyone know why some multi-stores didn’t split? Is this strategic? My guess is all these changes have to do with another wave of stores going indirect that will probably be announced by end of year.

All this means is a lot more corp stores turning indirect. Watch Verizon just learned something and they aren’t going to implement it for the benefit of employees.
Stores are a race to the bottom. Obsolete and expensive.
part of the demands and complaints from the stores in the PNW that have/are going union.

good news is, this creates more openings in retail so i doubt retail will have layoffs anytime soon unless they flip a few stores indirect
