I am considering an offer but not sure. I am looking at the posts on Glassdoor and it looks like OCI is better than the rest of Oracle. Am I wrong?

on-prem > OCI..... and on-prem is not only less toxic, they make more money
They can not keep with the competition
They cut corners and dont spend money in right places. VP skims off the top for himself. Thinks of employees as commodities, that can be bought or sold and abused. Slavery mentality
Management is corrupt to the bone. They sick people, abusive.
Keep looking. If you work hard, smart & ethical you wont there long. The good ones go other places. It’s a long story. Oracle is no good.
Layoffs are part of the madness.
Isn't Oracle known for layoffs?
It's what the do best. If the big 0 big half the effort into building quality products and establishing relationships with their customers based on trust and a mutual benefit as they did laying off people, they'd be on top of the heap.
Is it good than other companies ? No. Is it better than rest of orcl ? Yes.
I got an offer earlier in the week, but I don't think it's worth the risk with this economy. Isn't Oracle known for layoffs?
It pays more than the rest of Oracle.
No. OCI is known for its toxic atmosphere. Was an article a while back where they interviewed people. Very bad place. Also the lawsuit posted on here where the man committed su----e, was in OCI.
If I gave you a jar of jelly beans, and told you that only one was poisonous, would you eat it? After all, some (if not most) are good.
