How much longer will we have to do the work of several people? How long before Fiserv stops working employees to 60+ hours a week, instead of hiring more staff? The "we can't find good candidates to hire" can only hold up for so long before there are even more positions they'll have to fill.

I max out at 45 hours a week, then I'm away to my busy personal life.
As long as they can squeeze more hours out of people, they will not change. It doesn't matter how much you complain, if you still get it done, that is the new normal. They won't hire anyone else unless they are forced to.
This is happened ng at dir ctor level too. They don't give a sh-t if you work 60+ hours a week, just shows them that bodies are in seats and working so no one else is needed in the department. If you work only 40 it's considered bare minimum and you will get more work thrown at you or cut. This place is ridiculous, don't apply here.
Frank don’t care. Frank just wants money.
Stop doing the 60 hour weeks. If work can’t get done in 40, that’s Frank’s problem. I’m over it. I do my job. I LIKE my job. But I’m not paying the price for his short-sighted decision making. If the work suffers, clients will complain. That’s the only voice he might actually listen to. Because he sure as he-l isn’t listening to any of us.
After this year lookout for significant offshoring for all types of customer support and development.
They will just fill in bodies occasionally. With the recent move to NJ or your done route they have lost more experience and knowledge than they can afford and now the additional cuts is just more problems waiting to happen. The mess that's currently happening gets worse with each day that passes. I have never seen such an ineptness in upper management at a company than at Fiserv. Astounds me, it does, the bullsh** and lies that are told to clients. We have this great new "program", it's replacing what you have now BUT we're going to charge you more for the new version, this version has everything you asked for, it's way better than what you had, it's going to work so much better than what you have.....then it doesn't work and they can't have the old one that did work back....this is every program every day. sickening it is.
They aren't going to replace with quality, if they wanted quality they wouldn't be dropping product sme's. Anticipate the work load growing and the company getting more miserable internally
They will hire new people when we start failing our clients. Work your forty and go home.
Fiserv was under-resourced even pre-First Data, at least on my team. There was never any capacity planning done, just “get the work done”. I cannot even imagine how bad it is now.
The rif no one talks about out loud
Correction. Can't find good candidates to hire in NJ. Small net to cast.
Why would they need to find good candidates when they just RIFd a bunch?
Isn’t that an ironic scenario?
