What happened to massive fiber build out that was supposed to transform Verizon so that we could start using our own last mile access versus third-party providers and decrease costs and increase revenue?
Did Hans slowed down or shut down One Fiber?
Any details are appreciated.

In Pa before Covid hit they combined construction and maintenance into one group. They were sending POTS to fiber training. Covid hit and it all stopped. I was told on Monday that i am being sent to fiber training on 7/10.
System techs are going to be working down as splicers and installers locally. Splicers will be sent out of town.
My area is not getting fiber nor will it ever.

:Fiber is so last century. :5Ghee is the future
COVID happened... There is a world wide shortage of fiber and all the world's big telecoms are fighting over the crumbs...
fiber is only run to where A-N-D-Y does his l-a-m-e Up to speed shows. Its nice to get to travel the world at the company's expense for videos that get a dozen views.
Vz is fighting for social justice not telephones and internet
Should be done soon unless it was done enough.
