Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

44,000 employees to what?

We've had 44,000 employees last year (the same as the previous two years, which is already a bit suspicious) but I can't find what that number is now with the never-ending layoffs of 2022. At least a few thousand are gone by now, I believe. Also, it'd be nice to know what's the end goal here. Is there a number the leadership is wanting to reach (let's say 40k) or do they just plan to keep cutting with no end in sight?

Number of employees should be in Workday. Take a look.

Labelling it as lying implies there is an actual plan. No evidence of that. Wall Street seems to agree.

That's a BS number. I had a friend who worked with Clarity. He could pull headcount numbers. FISV headcount was 35K-38K after the Dec 31 bloodbath.

I'm no longer an employee, but I was told through the grapevine that FB was shooting for a ~ 5% RIF per quarter. Maybe that has slowed down, maybe not. If they were at 35K, that would suggest a 1750 headcount reduction, and 'The 300" is way below that projection.

I do know that RIF expenses - which are required to be posted - are only increasing by the year. That part is not speculation.

We were also told directly by someone who reported to Guy C. that 'remote people were safe'. No one believed him, for good reason. It was a lie. The company is run by liars.
