I understand the reason why they decided on the cuts, but couldn’t they have planned them a little better?
Some teams will be badly damaged. It seems it's important for our management to make cuts, even without any planning.

Less overpaid and more "can we outsource the listed skill set to a cheaper country, while ignoring the benefits of experience?"
It doesn't matter the team/group/project/whatever.
Only 2 criteria: Overpaid or Disliked.
Unless you are a Manager, where disliked is a good thing.
