I have been looking for layoffs for months. Still looking.
We are all heading for interesting times. Be ready!
If Oracle is losing so many people due to high attrition to the degree that you don’t think you have to worry about more layoffs, then WHY are you still there? High attrition means that a lot of employees are unhappy at Oracle and want something better, so unless you love it at Oracle then get out! Lots of better places to work at.
Just rem there are other pastures. Some are green and some are not. You have choices always. We learn from all of our experiences. What we go through right now, even it’s not what we want, might be painful but, it will benefit us in some way at some point.
Be grateful for you have and learn today and know that tomorrow is an adventure to look forward too.
We get to choose how we react to every situation.
Life is full of twists and turns. Just remember they you have made it to this point.
Take with you tomorrow, all that you have learned today and in the past and use it to make your future better.
It is true how we treat others is how we will be treated. We can always start today treating people as we want to be treated.
Don't expect layoffs for the forseable, the attrition they're seeing from both sales and sales engineers is massive. A significant layoff round would mean turning the lights out.
The money set aside for layoffs is no more than it has been in the past. Nothing much will happen this year. Nothing big.
I want to see if they consolidate Mgmt
Get rid the real dead weight

Enjoy the last warmth of summer.
Winter is coming!
Getting laid off by Oracle was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I'll never go back to that sh-thole.
Many still have a shot at a package then. Hoping for mine soon. Good luck to everyone.
Or at least 12 months, probably even more.
