U.S. Bank remains profitable, however, it is not growing or performing anywhere near the levels of its competitors or peers in the large regional banking space, thus the ongoing layoffs and movement of work overseas to create a financial picture which isn't really accurate or ethical, given the inability of overseas workers to fix things stateside when problems come up
