You sound like a prisoner who keeps praying not to get paroled. Getting out of this shithole should be a reason to celebrate, not fear. Just think about it. If you are laid off, you will be walking away with a bunch of money in your hand. You can take a month off and enjoy life again before you even start looking for a new job. Tell me, how is that a bad thing?

Just keep working here and collect that pay check. Most managers are clueless and self absorbed trying to get to the next level they will never get too anyway. So log in. Send a few email. Send a few slack messages. Move the mouse around. And stick it to this place. They don’t care about you so why should you care. They are just gonna being in some H1B to replace you any way. My work day is like office space, I space out for about 7 hours. Just remember kissing a-s isn’t going to save you, it’s a numbers game. Just milk it for as long as you can. Oh. And if you do get rif’d, port your numbers out as fast as you can.
I basically just keep collecting my pay check, I literally do nothing except maybe show up everyday lol it’s like free money. Thanks for centralizing and outsourcing my responsibilities 10 years ago lol
