Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Any new rumors from the Clinton NJ site? Left two years ago, haven't heard anything good.

This is total speculation as I don't work in research, but every other part of the company is looking to consolidate and we are selling assets, saw an article on increased interest in the Billings, MT refinery just this morning. I just can't possibly imagine that the Annandale site will continue to exist, especially since headquarters is moving to Houston from Irving.

I'd give it 5 years tops.

Now that they put the screws even deeper in the union. The contractors are starting to be hired. If you are a young person, I suggest you start looking for another job. All the managers are still here and have gotten worse. DO' still has them lining up outside his office for the morning hummer. KE is just as nasty and d-mb.
One good thing kuY has a special assignment. They gave her the golden parachute.

I hear a company not in the commodity business is interested.
A real company with a future in research is interested.
Wow. A real company.

Still looking to sell. If a buyer isn’t found within 6 months, looking to either transform site into renewable energy or shutdown. Options being weighed for both.
