I was there in the best of times. Wow. What a difference. We made so much money and everyone had a job. Did not have enough seats Dearborn. Had to rent facilities all around! I’m so sorry younger folks could not see the company at its best.

The best of times is relative. We, the employees, had it great. But in reality, the company was getting bloated and losing ground to our Japanese competitors. And that set us up for the next dip on the roller coaster.
Red was a class act and great for Ford.
