Are they ruthless enough to lay off someone on MAT leave? Does FMLA protect you from a mass layoff like that is that just another means nothing law? Any idea how long you get health insurance once let go? Just added my baby.

You would think anyone who had that happen to them would, and should, sue for discrimination.

You can be laid off while on maternity leave; this is not illegal, unless you were terminated because of maternity leave.
My insurance ended on my last day, but the company pays your first month COBRA premium.
