Manager in my group received notices to prepare for raise conversations with employees
Anyone know who is impacted? Salary? Non-exempt? Percentage?
How much? Is there a salary cap where those over get nothing?

lolz, your downvoters are probably the same people that matched in the streets for a $15 min wage. Same question then, as now, why not $100/hr. Then everyone could afford what they need, RIGHT?
Obviously not, but let's watch some "living wage" liberal arts major types embarrass themselves for a while.
This is not true....I was told the opposite last week....that with the downturn in the economy I/we shouldn't expect anything for a year or two. I was also told there are too many managers - no surprise there. I didn't feel bad at all putting in my resignation after hearing this is what our management thinks is appropriate to keep us motivated.
You want a raise? Look for a new job! It might take time and it will take effort but if you think you’re well paid here you must be a new hire from JPM or BoA.
People really need to listen carefully to management. They are saying the quiet part out loud. The only way this company can expand the bottom line is by cutting expenses. IT has budget crises every quarter lately. Cut! Cut! Cut! Is the only solution they have until the cap is lifted.
if you give people more money won't that just prolong inflation? People keep to spend less so supply can outweigh demand then prices drop.
if they did give blanket raises though I'm sure it will be to lower wage employees.
I have been asking about raises on this site since RTO. EVERY time someone has shot me down. I am not asking this site another time for a raise. Thank you very much!
It's been discussed for groups with high attrition rates; I personally know of an area that received 5% about two months ago as a retention raise.
WF will not be giving raises for Inflationary measures, they will however pay new employees a higher wage that are coming in.
Yes, 9% raises for everyone with last names beginning with the letter "B." In the next pay period, it is everyone with last names starting with the letter "S." From there, it continues randomly at the inflation rate corresponding with the time of selection.
ain nobody gonn get nothing
No, they just go bananas if you bring it up without acknowledging the cause or being interested in the solution which one side ignores.
If this happens, it's for people under $100k. You'll be lucky to get 3%. Meanwhile, the BOD and Schart Execs continue to pad their stonk options and golden parachutes through their many planned forced attrition measures.
Charles going to get a fat bump... You? No so much...
“Inflation raises”. That’s hilarious.
Stop listening to this garbage. Your going to get a big fat ZERO sandwich.
Amazing that tellers have went from 10 to 20 per hour over the last 10 years. I would love for my job to double in pay without me needing to move or learn any new skills over these next ten years.
I've heard whispers. My guess is, like most raises in the last 5 years, it'll all go to entry level ICs.
Everyone under 96,600
@OP why don't you just ask your manager??
They are going to give out “thoughts and prayers”
Careful talking about Inflation most Dems go absolutely bananas if you bring up rising costs.
Hard to get more money out of the consumers when you've already bled them dry if you don't give them more to spend.
If this is real that would be fantastic.
It’s probably a conversation about how to decline any request for a raise on the basis of inflation. lol.
Q: Raise?
A: No!
Follow up Q: But, but, but inflation!
Final A: Too bad. You had two covid years to save and WFH with no parking fees and gas at $1. Tap into that savings. Chuckie says hi. Get outta my office.
