Sooooo what's the standard layoff package this time?
"If i am a boomerang who they recruited back a few months ago do I get any credit for my previous years? Oci engineering. "
If you are rehired within 12 months, then yes, the previous stint will be considered for the severance pay as it will not be considered as a break in service for all the benefits.

No, a rehire does not get previous years service counted as part of severance formula. Only your current hire years are used.

Shouldn't you have asked/negotiated that when they rehired you?
I think its capped at 26 weeks

Your boss will hand you a pink piece of paper. It will say "Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out."

severence pay = annual base salary / 52 * (total years of service + 3)
